New Beginnings for a Reignited Brotherhood
This year marked a significant chapter for Minnesota Beta, fueled by outstanding recruitment and a renewed sense of brotherhood.
In fall 2024, our chapter saw its most successful recruitment season. We proudly initiated 34 new members, bringing in a large, diverse, and highly engaged class. These new brothers brought renewed energy, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to our values. The momentum continued into spring 2025, where we initiated seven more members, bringing the total to 41 new initiates for the academic year.
The size and strength of this new member class had an immediate and positive impact on the chapter, not just in numbers, but in effort. With this expanded brotherhood, we could take on larger events, participate in more campus activities, and experience new chapter traditions.
For the first time, the chapter visited Chicago for a formal event, thanks in large part to the increased size, organization, and enthusiasm brought in by the new member class.
This formal wasn’t just a trip, it was a symbol of how far the chapter has come in one year. It reflected our growth, our ability to organize large-scale events, and our commitment to creating lasting memories for our members. The success of the Chicago trip has already inspired planning for even more events in the coming year.
As we reflect on this past year, recruitment and the brotherhood it created stand out as the foundation of our success. We welcomed over 41 new brothers, expanded our reach on campus, and deepened the connections within our chapter. The future of MN Beta is bright, and we look forward to building on this year’s momentum.
